My name is Yassin Senyonga, a refugee, father, and digital educator. I founded TugendeTech Ug to empower fellow refugees, asylum seekers, and African youth with AI and digital skills — directly from within our underserved communities. What began as a personal journey with one secondhand tablet has grown into a movement of possibility and purpose.
Today, I am launching an online-based grassroots program designed to train vulnerable learners using mobile-friendly tools and mentorship — right from Busia. With zero staff and a heart full of drive, I teach every class myself. What I lack in funding, I make up for in dedication.
🌟 Why I Need Your Support
To launch the first 3-month intake and create a digital classroom that works, I urgently need to raise $3,000. This small investment will provide long-term transformation for dozens of refugee learners.
💻 Breakdown of Immediate Needs:
- 2 Used Laptops for training
- Internet data bundles for 3 months
- Recording mic + earphones (for lessons & podcasts)
- Monthly hosting, promotion & outreach
- Content creation & software subscriptions
